Raised in the south of England, daughter of a Spanish/Malaysian/South Asian father and an English mother, Ren enjoyed performing from a young age. After attending Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts at 16 and later the Guildford School of Acting, Ren spent a number of years performing in London and in regional theaters before making her way to Los Angeles via New York. In addition to being an actor, Ren holds a Masters in Psychology and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
In 2016 Ren added the role of Clinical Psychologist to her life skills repertoire but by 2021 her inner actress was screaming to be let out of the wings again. Since then Ren has played numerous roles in award winning short films, a TV pilot, Season 17 of Criminal Minds as Dr. Maria Moreno, and most recently Linda & Florence in the comedy feature The BreakUp Pill directed by Tom Arnold (release date 2026).
Ren has performed stand up in the Legendary Room at The Ice House in Pasadena, California and trained in MoCap/P-Cap and minor stunts with Henry Layton.
She is currently in post-production on a short film she wrote, produced and starred in titled, Cat Burglar, as well as finishing the first draft of a novel.
In her spare time Ren is an avid yogi and paddle boarder, where she can routinely be found standing on her head.
